It’s Fighting Words Friday and I thought this week we would consider a verse in keeping with my Memento Mori book work that I wrote about earlier this week.

If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living. – Romans 14:8-9

(In addition to considering my work on my death book and memento mori, this has been just one hell of a week and it is so comforting to remember that all of our lives are in the Lord. ❤  )
