Today is the first day of October and this year I’ve decided to do a sort of Blogtober for Breast Cancer Awareness month in memory of our precious Lindsey who we miss so much as well as my dear friend Chani who passed away last month in a very unexpected way – though she had been dealing with breast cancer for several years, she was stable and it was not expected so suddenly.

Both of these women were very young and fought excruciating battles against metastatic disease.

As they are especially heavy on my heart with all of the pink ribbons appearing in the shops for October, I feel like a lovely way to honor them is by having Blogtober this year, with daily breast cancer awareness posts, apart from any other of my usual postings.

So, Happy Blogtober, y’all. I’ll see you all here tomorrow. ❤
