blogtober day 8: good things are always in the works.

Yesterday, I saw an article about a new research finding at Vanderbilt that will help develop treatments for immunotherapy resistant triple negative breast cancer.

(If you aren’t familiar, triple negative breast cancer is diagnosed in 10 to 20% of all breast cancers and tends to be more aggressive and has a higher risk of metastasis and also recurrence.)

First, I am going to share the article because I know my feeble attempts to explain it will fail and it is really wonderful news.

Vanderbilt Research Article.

Second, I share this because I want to encourage everyone, that even with the frightening nature of some breast cancer statistics and any diagnosis, progress is being made every day in new ways to treat it. For example, this article is from October 4th – so just four days ago. ❤

I remember when our Lindsey was going through her treatment that she benefitted from the everchanging and developing therapies for years as she lived with MBC.

Even with the most frightening diagnosis, there is constant progress and always hope.

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Grace and Blessings.
