blogtober day 15 – all about henry (a little late)

So, yesterday we were taking a slow Sunday together, watching football and staying cozy. Around 3, Henry got off the couch to go outside and his front paw started giving way and he was limping really badly.

He is on a few meds for a bulging disk in his neck that has caused significant pain with moving his front paws in a certain way in the past. Thank goodness, he did not seem to be in a great deal of discomfort yesterday – but we were very concerned about the sudden difficulty walking.

We gave him his breakthrough dose of nerve pain meds and headed to our fabulous vet’s office where Dr. Wright gave rescue today.

waiting to be seen and getting daddy loves. ❤

He didn’t find any new structural issues – thank the Lord – and feels that Henry’s inflammation is causing these problems. He added another anti-inflammatory as well as a course of antibiotics for UTI (an ongoing issue) and sent us on our way.

Since then, Henry has started his new meds and been pretty zooted with the extra nerve meds. 😛  #bless

Since I’m sickly too, after Henry was settled, I had to crash for several hours – and we are headed back that way again soon.

All the good vibes and warm fuzzies and prayers for our baby boy are appreciated. ❤

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Grace and Blessings.
