As is customary here at the Autoimmune Hippie, we’re a little behind getting started – 🙂 – but today is the first day of blogmas this year. I’ll be posting daily through Christmas, as I love – love, love – this season so much. ❤
I’m up early because it takes this body a while to get moving on rainy days especially – and I am looking forward today, which is: 1. Church Day with my Al (always wonderful) and 2. the first Sunday of Advent (even more special).
(Tomorrow we’ll talk about the first candle of Advent. ❤ )
Today I wanted to tell y’all about the most lovely Christmas gift from my Buggle.

On Friday morning, Bug took me to see the Nutcracker at the Lyric Theatre downtown.

We had the best time and the ballet was done really well. It was pure joy, from the small children who were the cutest mice you ever saw – my heart ❤ – to the absolutely wonderful sugar plum fairy as well as all of the other professionals who were truly fantastic.
I loved this sweet take on the Nutcracker so much.

One of the moms of the little ones in the show painted these beautiful ornaments for sale as a fundraiser and we chose two – Mother and tiny Mouse ❤ – for my Nutcracker tree.

Oh my heart. ❤
After the ballet, we went to Mellow Mushroom – always a favorite – for a fun and yummy lunch as well.
It was the best start to December and such a sweet Christmas gift. Thank you so much, Buggle Boo! ❤
Happy Blogmas y’all, too. It’s going to be fun. 🙂

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.
Grace and Blessings.
Each year, I usually close our blogmas posts with a favorite Christmas song – and this year will be the same. Today’s Christmas song: Lindsey Stirling’s Carol of the Bells. ❤
