a day with cheryl strayed.

This week is a difficult one here in the Hippie Hut with a deeply painful (external) situation weighing heavily on me – so, predictably, I’m also really sick.

(We are working towards a resolution of the issues now. I just wanted to share where I’ve been; my focus is just *gone* right now.)

In the midst of it, I decided to take a break from the project related reading I’ve been doing and have a look at something lighter instead, spending the day with one of my favorites – Cheryl Strayed.

Cheryl is the author of Wild and Tiny Beautifu Things, as well as several other lovely works. ♥️

I picked up her book of quotes, Brave Enough.

♥️

This copy is even more dear to my heart because it is inscribed to me from Cheryl.

my heart.

As I’ve loved reading what Cheryl said she hoped would be her “book of yes” – I wanted to share some favorite quotes with y’all.

(I would have shared every page if I could have. ♥️)

sometimes we have to do the hard things.
i’ve written on this one several times.
this one is up in my office. ♥️
this.
also an office quote. ♥️
this too.
♥️♥️♥️
a writing favorite. ♥️
i write about this one often. ♥️
♥️♥️♥️
finally, this.

I *hope* to wrangle my thoughts for a regular book report tomorrow as I have some wonderful ones to share.

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Grace and Blessings.
