happy farmers market week, y’all.

This week is National Farmers Market Week.

In my town, we have a lovely new city park space where events like Friday Night Movie Night and Cityfest are held as well as our weekly farmers market – and it is fantastic. ❤

Yesterday there were extra activities for families (for Community Night Out and Farmers Market Week) – and I went down and gathered our veggies and a few other goodies as well.

my favorite veggie stand has beautiful produce – and all of this locally grown for $8.
another stand with yummy baby potatoes for $4.
a handmade pumpkin candle that smells like heaven.
a visit to the candy lady – who is so precious – and makes the most yummy freeze dried candy.
and, of course, a tiny plant followed me home. 😉
As usual, I was all sweaty – but super happy after Farmer’s Market Day – and ready to roast some veggies. ❤
