This week, September 22nd – 28th, is Banned Books Week, ending with Let Freedom Read Day on Saturday.
Banned Books Week, of course, is an important event here at the Autoimmune Hippie and I’ll be making daily posts in observance.

Today, I’m actually going to recommend a fun little fiction book that has just come out by Kirsten Miller called Lula Dean’s Little Library of Banned Books.

This novel takes on everything from book bans to racism, cliques to small town Southern prejudices – and is completely on point while still managing to be absolutely charming.
I really loved it – and it is a lovely way to spend banned books week. ❤
Tomorrow we’ll be looking at some of the most banned books in recent years.
Wishing you all a great Monday and happy reading.

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.
Grace and Blessings.
