blogtober day 2 – a poetry day.

Considering all that is happening to our neighbors in the states so tragically affected by Hurricane Helene, I decided to change our latest topic to discuss the things concerning them – and I am working on a lengthy post.

However, today was a doctor day for our family – so I am not yet finished and – of course – want it to be my best.

Instead, I am going to share one of our planned poetry posts for this month today – and I’ll share our Hurricane Helene post tomorrow.

This poem, “Perhaps the World Ends Here” by Joy Harjo, is one I find to be just stunning – and I hope you will find it moving as well.

♥️

We’ll be having poetry days each week this Blogtober – and maybe keep them afterwards too. ♥️

As I said, tomorrow’s post will be all about those facing the awful aftermath of Helene. As we consider how we might help, please also keep them near, and in your thoughts and prayers.

♥️

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Grace and Blessings.
