blogtober post 7 – fall flowers.

As an enthusiastic plant lady, I would be remiss if I didn’t share my favorite fall plants here in the Hippie Hut.

I really enjoy seasonal finds – and this year I’ve found some unique ones.

I love mums and this rainbow arrangement from Home Depot is just beautiful for the end of our walk.

fall mums.

On the same Home Depot outing, I found the most lovely rainbow peppers that are adorable out front.

Ornamental peppers.

Another mum find, this one from Walmart, in their Better Homes and Gardens line, was this really nifty yellow mum that is still blooming, engineered to smell like pumpkin and chai.

This little mum smells *so* good. ❤️

In addition to those finds, my better half gave me the most gorgeous green orchid that I am just obsessed with.

I have never seen an orchid like this before. Thank you so much, baby. 😍

The cactus next to my orchid is also a fantastic new fall find – Aldi for $6.99 – I was very excited. 😊

My existing plants have really taken off this fall with the rain and the warm weather as well.

I love my plant lady time so much – and I’m sure y’all will probably get a full indoor plant report too before October is over 😉 – but, first this weekend we have to get back on track with our banned book project.

In our next post, we’ll be discussing Upton Sinclair’s The Jungle.

For this morning, wishing you all a happy football Saturday. ❤️

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Grace and Blessings.
