Y’all, it’s the beginning of blogmas, our annual daily posting through the month of December. ♥️

Earlier today I was working on our day 1 post – a belated thanksgiving post – which I’ll definitely be sharing tomorrow – but I’ve been sidetracked tonight.

As I was sitting with my husband earlier this evening, with our babies playing in the other room, we heard a yelp and I took off to find my sweet Ollie limping and shaking.

Something had happened to his back right paw.

As we got him settled, he was comfortable – and we decided to keep him cozy until the vet’s office opens in the morning.

As we’ve so recently been through major illnesses with our older babies, seeing our precious little Oliver hurt is terrible – and his mother seems to be taking it harder than he is.

Thank goodness, through the night, he has improved – but will be seen in the morning and we will know more then.

First, please send our little man your prayers and good thoughts.

Second, when upsetting things just keep coming, I often think of my favorite quote from the movie, Rocky Balboa – and decided to make it today’s blogmas day 1 post for anyone else who might need it too:
