After a busy doctor day a few days ago, we ended up a bit off schedule – but today’s blogmas post, getting back to it – is a joyful one.

There are definitely difficult parts of this holiday without our Henry – but it is also our first one with Oliver and I want to celebrate all the special little things.

(It is also our first with our precious Teddy and he has all the wonderful firsts at home too – but he is a shy fellow and would not like a crowded outing at all.)

Yesterday was our town’s Christmas tree lighting festival, just down from our house.

Ollie and I went down for a bit and had the best time.

It was his first big outing – and he is a people person for sure.♥️

We ran into some of our precious friends – and we got to have Ollie’s first Santa pictures made. ♥️

We also stopped for pictures with the Grinch and Buddy the Elf as we were leaving.

Today, I’ve been wiped from our adventure – but I’m so happy to have gotten to take our little one to his first Christmas festival. ♥️

Later this week I’m looking forward to sharing some of our Hippie Hut Christmas-ing with y’all next.
