Thursday night and Friday were our first winter weather days of the season here in Alabama – and, in the Hippie Hut, this also brought Oliver’s first snow day. ♥️

After many changes to the forecast, we were expecting mostly freezing rain and ice only – and were delighted to also have snow through the night Thursday.

Because of the cold temperatures, the snow stayed with us all day Friday – and Oliver went out (briefly – he isn’t a big fan of cold weather at 12 pounds) to see it, wearing his Henry scarf. ♥️

Indoors, we had a simple veggie dinner – and gave Ollie and Teddy their first veggie dinners too.

Otherwise, we snoodled up and did lots of reading and writing and – mostly – puppy chasing. ☺️

Because my better half’s work involves emergency road management in severe weather, he worked straight through for 48 hours – and we are so grateful he is home with us and cozy now. ♥️
