happy birthday gatsby.

I’ve been planning to return to Friday book reports this spring and summer – and there is no better way to start than celebrating the 100th anniversary of the release of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby on April 10th.

The language of Gatsby has my heart forever – and if you haven’t seen Baz Luhrmann’s film version with Leo as Gatsby, I encourage you to watch it this weekend, as, not only is Leo the perfect Gatsby, but also they incorporate so much of the book’s language directly in the film. ♥️

Tomorrow, to honor the anniversary, New York is lighting the Empire State Building green for Gatsby’s green light.

My freaking heart. 💚

Thank you, Scott, for such a treasure. We all raise our glasses. 🥂

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Grace and Blessings.
