a really hard thing in the hippie hut.

It has been a difficult week for our family.

our mickodemus. ❤

As he has been dealing with diabetes and kidney issues, we had to say goodbye yesterday to our almost thirteen year old cat, Mickodemus.

(He started life as Mick – but quickly needed a much longer trouble name and it became the biblically inspired Mickodemus. Over the years, he would add Crookshank Brimley Herring – and I’m still not sure four names were enough to contain all of his mischief. 🙂  )

He was a total mess.

baby mickodemus.

He was the absolute LOUDEST cat I have ever known – and this house is freakishly quiet today – despite having four dogs.

stealing risotto.

I was forever finding him trying to steal my food. In fact, he loved to swipe a chicken nugget or tater tot right off of my plate and take off. 🙂

bug and mick. ❤

He always shared a birthday with our bug.

He was the most unruly, fabulous feline ever – and we will miss him so much. ❤

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Grace and Blessings.
