my week of 45: films.

Continuing this week’s 45 motif for my birthday, today I am thinking about favorite films.

Before I met Courtney, I didn’t consider myself much of a movie person. On the other hand, he was an avid film fan, and, as he had a long recovery from a major back surgery in our first year together, we spent a lot of happy, cozy time cuddled up, getting me caught up on all the stories I had missed. ❤

Since then, over the years, we’ve found so many films that we love together, and I look forward to our movie date nights several times a week.

This list – in no particular order – includes many of our together favorites, some beloved Christmas movies (so dear to my heart), and a few favorite film series as well.

Where there are series, I’ve just counted the whole as one – even though I freely acknowledge that some films in every series are better than others (I’m looking at you, Rocky V).

45 Favorite Films:

  1. The Crow

2. A Good Year

3. Leap Year

4. The Lethal Weapon Series. I somehow had missed this one until this past year and we had so much fun with it that we binged it in four nights during a work week.
