a post about ice cream (sort of)

I happened to see that yesterday was 33 Flavors Day, celebrating all things ice cream – and it gave me pause to share a little something ice cream related here with y’all.

Here in the Hippie Hut, my better half and Bug have always been the ice cream people, more so than me.

(I like it – I’m no manster 😉 – but could take it or leave it, most days.)

However, Courtney and I were at Aldi several weeks ago and spotted this absolute wonder in the freezer section – and I flipped my lid.

Fruity Pebbles cereal and confetti sprinkles – my favorite things – in vanilla ice cream. . . I brought it home and it was even more heavenly than it sounded.

I ate a whole pint of ice cream by myself for the first time in my life – while I was cooking dinner.

Oh yes, that happened. 🙂

Well, of course, this is a limited-edition flavor – and it seemed that my favorite new treat in the world was gone until next year (Bluebell releases it for National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day each year).

Except that Aldi managed to get another order from some magical place. . . More I ❤ Cereal Bluebell appeared.

Now my story isn’t actually about this magical unicorn ice cream – though it is straight from Jesus.

No, the story is of my wonderful husband, who gathered the remaining supply of the Lord’s frozen goodness for me and stocked our deep freezer.

I am so well-loved and cared for and I am grateful every day.

Thank you so much, baby.

I love you to the moon and back.

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Grace and Blessings.
