I was *very* late to the Swiftie party – but sometime last year, she found me too – by my birthday this year, I had my family watching the Eras film for my party here in the Hippie Hut. ❤
And here we are. 😉
That said, last night, I was up, calling across the hall to an incredibly patient Bug – who was NOT having a moment about the Tortured Poets Department 🙂 – as I was listening to all the songs – and then flipping out with all the peoples when the double dropped too. ❤
There was one song in particular I was waiting on – and it so exceeded my expectations.
I’ve written before how much I adore Florence Welch – my car is even called Florence – and I could not wait to hear Florida, the song they co-wrote and recorded together.
Holy macaroni, y’all. I have big feelings.
There are so many good songs that – on first (well, *second*) pass – my favorites right now are:
- The Manuscript
- loml
- Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me
- Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus
- thank you aIMee
- The Black Dog
- The Tortured Poets Department
- I Can Do It With A Broken Heart
- Cassandra
And, of course, Florida.
Florida.
Florida. ❤
Y’all, take a listen to the Tortured Poets Anthology today.
Yes, I know I’m fan girling 😉 – but it does not disappoint.
And, I have to leave you with my ladies: Taylor and Florence and Florida. ❤
Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.
Grace and Blessings.
(Today is a two post day too. It’s Banned Book Friday. ❤ )
