For Mother’s Day, my sweet Bug gave me tickets to Luke Bryan’s August 17th show at Truist Park in Atlanta – so Saturday morning we hit the road.
First stop, of course, Buc-ee’s:

And then on to the park:

As always, our precious Lindsey came as well.

At first, we were quite toasty – as it was almost 100 degrees out.
Then, for the next four hours, waiting for Luke, we were much cooler – but quite wet – as it poured down rain on us, through his three opening acts and a couple of storm delays.

Unfortunately, it must have delayed a little too long for Luke – because by the time he appeared, he was really in no condition to perform.

He was more shouting than singing, forgetting the words to his songs, just a mess.
We left about halfway through his set and started the long stroll back to our car.
On the way home, we were super hungry and stopped for some late night IHOP – and it was so so yummy.

We made it home about 2 AM – and I am still absolutely exhausted – but I am so thankful for getting to spend the best day with my Buggle. ❤

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.
Grace and Blessings.
