day 5 of thanksgiving – my overflowing camera roll.

Growing up, my precious Grandmother was a huge picture person – and she would make my Daddy and my Uncle Mark crazy with her Polaroid camera at all of our family gatherings – no matter the occasion, big or small – documenting every little thing.

(Though it has long since stopped working, I still have her camera here at the Hippie Hut. ♥️)

Well, the need to take pictures of absolutely *everything* was 100% passed down to me – as my family can attest.

I had been trying to work through my camera roll and clean out duplicates and what not from the start – and almost gotten through 2021 – before taking a break with all that has happened recently.

That said, I have over 15,600 pictures on there still – and it is ever-growing.

♥️

I’ve realized in these recent weeks – though I’m just not able to go through all of my photos right now (I will be later, I’m sure) – how grateful I am that I took pictures every time Henry had a wiggle fit or Goblin was just being his funny adorable self.

(I say our babies always have the paparazzi following them around. 😂)

I take multiple photographs most every day of just. . . life . . . and I am so thankful for them all. ♥️

I am still struggling mightily to go through pictures at the moment – I miss Henry and Goblin so much – but this is just a relatively small selection of photos I love from a quick scroll through my favourites tab. ♥️

Of course, since our sweet Ollie and Teddy have joined the family, their personal photographer has been very busy as they are settling into new routines and growing so fast as well.

I want to capture it all. ♥️

I’m thankful for the thousands and thousands of wonderful memories I already have saved – and I look forward to making many more with my precious family here in the Hippie Hut. ♥️

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Grace and Blessings.
