In my previous post I said I would follow with a few more this week with news of what has been going on here in the Hippie Hut.

It has taken me several days to write this – and it is even more awful to be sharing another post like this one again so soon after losing Henry and Goblin – but I am heartbroken to say that last Sunday our precious Daxy crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

He fought mast cell cancer hard – and we are so thankful for the excellent care he received from our wonderful vet, Dr B, allowing him to really be happy at home, loving his backyard, running the fence line, howling along with every siren (and we have many, living near the police and fire stations 😂 #blessababy), and sunning to his heart’s content for many months after his initial diagnosis. ♥️

At night, he would run in to sleep on his memory foam mattress his daddy set up for him, snuggled with his sister – and then be ready at the door to head back outside at sun up.

He was active to the very end.

He was absolutely the sweetest dog and we will miss him terribly.
