happy birthday gatsby part deux – a surprise visit.

Sunday afternoon, my better half and I drove to Montgomery for a lovely event with our precious family.

From there, we went to a different part of town, visiting my husband’s college on our way to spend time with our dear cousins we don’t get to see often enough at all.

As we were driving, considering that we found ourselves on Zelda Road – named for Zelda Fitzgerald – I asked Courtney how far we were from the Fitzgerald museum.

It turned out, we were right there – so, after having my visits cancelled due to my own illnesses, and also covid shutdown at one point, I was positively delighted to get to stop and see it.

♥️

Of course, it was closed on Sunday – but I was content to just walk around the grounds.

The Fitzgerald house, y’all. ♥️

The giant champagne bottle balloon was still on the door from the 100th birthday celebration of Gatsby over the weekend.

Happy 100th Birthday Gatsby. 🥂

Thank you for my field trip, baby. I love you to the moon and back.

♥️

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Grace and Blessings.
