appointments, labs, scans, and waiting.

Yesterday was a busy medical day.

In the morning, I drove across town to the earliest available appointment for DEXA scan (which has still taken some months), to assess the current state of my bones.

a funny spotted in the dressing room of the imaging center. ☺️

After that, I had my new patient appointment with an immunologist to sort the obvious challenges that exist with my immune system and how best to treat them.

(I have *not* been able to avoid secondary infections recently – so I pray she can help.)

chronic illness life.

Now, it’s the waiting game for results, always unnerving, to get a treatment plan.

(Next week is filled with doctors appointments as well.)

I am so grateful, always, to have excellent care available to me – but still also overwhelmed at times with the volume of doctors, tests, diagnoses, medications, and treatments.

*some days* 😂

This little vent/update post was needed – with much sunnier posts to share over the weekend.

Wishing you all a lovely weekend as well.

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Grace and Blessings.
