Last Saturday, November 8th, my Mississippi State Bulldogs hosted Georgia for an 11AM game – and we were all so excited because SEC Nation came to our campus for the first time since 2023.

Bug and I drove over bright and early to get an upfront spot so I, a Smurf, could see the Marty and McGee show (one of my favourites) live at 8AM.
We made it and were able to enjoy the show, seeing Marty and McGee – and Hardy as well.
I was so excited. ♥️
After that, we went to the stadium – for me to discover that my daytime gamedays (at least sunny daytimes) are over.
(I’m all nighttime games from here on out.)
I almost immediately got sickly with the sun beating down on us – and, unfortunately, there was no relief in sight. 🤦🏻♀️
Needless to say, despite my best efforts to cheer with my people, we went to watch the game with air conditioning from Mugshots.
Still, getting to see SEC Nation was fantastic – and I’ll definitely do it again, now knowing I have to watch the game indoors if it’s daytime.

When I got home and watched Marty and McGee with my better half, I was tickled when Bug and I were *on TV* – 😂 – with Marty.

This trip – and coming home to a massive cold front – has completely taken me out, especially my feet, knees, and left hip. The older I get – and the longer I have these autoimmune diseases – the more extreme my body responses seem and the longer they last at times. 🤦🏻♀️
This is just the price of living.
Still, it was a wonderful day in Starkville with my Buggle.
So so grateful.
Hail State.

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.
Grace and Blessings.
