Well, y’all, the fall I mentioned in yesterday’s post – that I considered a “banged up” type, resulted in my doctor insisting I go for X-rays yesterday as I haven’t been able to get this pain under control.
Hrrmmm.
On a Friday afternoon, of course, that meant urgent care and the wait from Hail:

When I did get my X-rays, of course there is my perma-line of micro fractures across the top of my foot – *and* some apparent new ones. 🤦🏻♀️
(Also, the other views suggested some involvement with my ankle so ortho will need to take a look at that. 🤦🏻♀️)

Needless to say, I was given toradol and steroid injections for pain and sent on my way to call ortho right away.
(Of note, they did send in naproxen to my pharmacy for pain – to which I am allergic *and* that is all over my chart to no effect. I share that to say, especially when you must go to an urgent care where they are hurried and unfamiliar with you, be extra cautious. Always look after yourself and your family members.)
I called my amazing orthopedist from the parking lot, who, thank the Lord, I haven’t seen in quite some time, to report I needed to come in.
Well, after teasing me that I could have at least tried to make it until after Christmas before my return, I was scheduled for my walk of shame on Monday. 😂
She’ll be able to get crystal clear images and determine exactly what we have going on here. 🤦🏻♀️
From there, because I noticed how deathly ill people were at urgent care – and I was overdue for my vaccines, I immediately stopped at Target pharmacy for my Covid and flu shots.

That’s right, by the time I got home last night, both hips and both arms were aching along with my left foot and leg. 😂
What a day. 👀
As there is nothing else I can do now, I’m looking forward to a lovely weekend with my people, beginning with the SEC championship game today with Mom and Pop. ♥️
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend as well.

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.
Grace and Blessings.
