Fall is here, y’all (well, officially tomorrow, but close enough we say 😉).
It has been a busy few weeks here in the Hippie Hut with football Saturdays – divided between our house and Mom and Pop’s house, always the best ♥️ – a multitude of doctors appointments, the loss of a dear friend’s mother 💔, a serious issue with an esthetician, and just life life-ing.
Also, my new book is in the very last stage before it goes to print and I am so excited and cannot wait to share it with y’all – but I now have All. The. Nerves.

First, from the multitude of MD appointments, I am starting some new treatments for my migraines and the pain in my neck and shoulders. As for the results of the painful test on my hands: my right hand has some gnarly carpal tunnel and the pain in my left hand that I cannot control is caused by my CRPS (so – not good news – but nothing unexpected).
Thankfully, overall my labs are holding from my hospital stay as well.
Now it’s just continuing all the follow up appointments and PT through the Fall.
We’ve also been traveling for the memorial service for the mother of one of my husband’s closest friends since they were very young.
It was a beautiful service for a special lady. ♥️

As for the issue with the esthetician, I don’t want to get into the details, only to say that it has really thrown me off kilter – and to remind you all to always advocate for yourselves.
On a much brighter note, football season is in full swing and we love sharing it with our people. Lots of excitement and cheering and cowbells and snacks and Maroon Fridays. . .

I’m so ready for all the Fall holidays – and some Fall weather please – as well as lots more book news in the next few weeks. 🤓
Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.
Grace and Blessings.
