As I’ve written in previous posts, I’m starting my health coaching practice and I am really excited. I am also working on my personal health goals this year that have gotten derailed by my illness and medications.
A few days ago, I posted something on one of my social media accounts and mentioned “health coaching myself” as well.
And then yesterday a lightbulb went off.
Since I am starting a new practice and also beyond ready to get this body as healthy and strong as it can be, I AM going to coach myself through a six month program.
I think it will be a great way to work out anything I need to with my program and work on myself as well.
And, from today through July 19th, Fridays will be update days here on The Autoimmune Hippie.
So, first, the lovely, just-rolled-out-of-bed-and-walked-over-to-my-study-day-1 picture:
Prednisone therapy causes weight gain, particularly in the face and abdomen (every woman’s dream) and deep red marks across the abdomen, so we are in no danger of EVER having any sort of swimsuit/sports bra/workout gear progress pictures floating around here. 😳
However, I AM counting on the progress pics only looking up from this one. 😂
As for what I am doing to get started, I am:
Sticking to a whole foods diet:
A daily food journal:
My essential oils:
I will be exercising – swimming – three times per week, as well as increasing daily activity as my health will tolerate.
My goal is to lose 40 pounds, but, more importantly, to feel more healthy and strong.
This insanely cold week in Alabama has NOT been kind to my joints and I have felt awful so I am ready to get started on ANYTHING that will help me feel better.
Leggo!
Be well, everybody, and Happy Friday!
Grace and blessings. ❤️💜💚💙💜
