This early Monday morning is the beginning of Valentine’s week.
Seeing the overflowing aisles of candy, balloons, and bears, when Sara and I stopped to pick up a few needed items yesterday evening, got me thinking that, here on the blog, I would like to focus on love this week as well.
Not the red, heart-y kind though.
The big as the ocean, Jesus-y kind that the world needs so badly right now.
Because everything has been so broken.
So, it’s all love verses and good things for the next several days.
Today, I was thinking of Philippians 1:9, where the Apostle Paul writes that we should abound more and more in love.
Maybe there is some small something each of us can do today to abound more in love?
Whether it’s sending an email to a friend we’ve been meaning to or picking up a coffee for our desk neighbor when we get our own – just a small kindness for someone?
When you think about it, those unexpected kindnesses mean so much – and you never know when someone really might need it.
So, take a minute if you can.
Abound a little more in love today. ❤
Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.
Grace and Blessings.
