Music is my love language.
I was trained in voice and piano for years when I was young. I love all things musical theater, symphony, opera. I think in song lyrics. . .
Needless to say, with the grief and upheaval that we’ve been experiencing in the past days, I’ve been seeking solace amidst my playlists while I am schoolworking along.
One playlist that appears from time to time here is my ongoing “All-Time Favorite Songs” list. Several years ago, it started as a Facebook tag that was supposed to be ten songs – but ended up 16. Since then, a few more have been added. Well, with this past week, it needed some love – and some new additions of songs that I’ve either remembered to add or newer ones that have come along.
So now it’s a super fabulous list of 24 songs that I love for different reasons – but they are all dear to my heart.
My 24 All-Time Favorite Songs ❤ (in no particular order)
Me and Bobby McGee – Janis Joplin

Thinking on my favorite songs and playlists and how comforting they can be also has me wanting to watch some of my favorite music type movies this week and month as well before it’s really time to go all in on the Halloween then Christmas movies.
Some that have come to mind so far:

I’m so grateful for music and art, especially when the world just doesn’t seem to make sense. ❤
Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.
Grace and Blessings.
