Christmastime is here.

This past Sunday was the fourth Sunday of Advent, and with it, the lighting of the final candle on the Advent wreath, the love candle, before the Christ candle is to be lit on Christmas.

So far, this season has been filled with love and friends and family and I am so thankful.

A week ago, our Al had a few of us over for a Christmas girl’s night – for the first time we’ve gotten to be together in SO long with the pandemic – and it was fantastic. ❤

Then, this past weekend, Courtney, Sara, Henry, and I got to travel to the lake for Christmas with our family – which we also missed last year with the quarantine.

It was just the best Christmas together. ❤

Then today, my bestie/sister, Ginny, came to visit and spend the day with us – and we haven’t gotten to see her in so so long with all of this craziness either.

Having her visit – even just getting to be together for a little while – made my heart smile. ❤

Now we are resting and wrapping and listening to Christmas music and watching Christmas movies and looking forward to a wonderful Christmas at home at the end of the week.

I can’t wait.

Merry Christmas, y’all.

This post’s Christmas song choice is Carrie Underwood’s version of one of my favorite Christmas hymns, The First Noel. I think it is so beautiful.

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Grace and Blessings.
