flu.

I had a fabulous time with my people at Southern Christian Writers Conference last weekend.

It was so good to see everyone and I learned so much. ❤

Unfortunately, after we all got home, several among us have gotten really sick with the dread C-19 – and we are all praying that our friends mend quickly (this stinks).

I have also been sickly, with awful body pain, headaches, sore throat, GI yuck, some wicked fatigue. . .

Though I am vaccinated and double boosted, of course I have been testing. So far, I have had three negative tests in three days.

Then, today, I was diagnosed with the flu and given a bunch of meds and desnotters and all that good stuff.

It makes sense that this immunocompromised spoonie could pick up anything going out and about after so long in relative quarantine – as I’m sure many other people are experiencing this as well.

So, for the next several days I’ll be all snoodled up with Henry and Mick, under my blankets, taking my meds, keeping cozy and getting well.

I have some more reading and writing I hope to do as well as some school work when I feel a bit better.

Right now, my brain may be in the Netflix and snooze stage of plague recovery. . .

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Grace and Blessings.
