My better half is always thinking about our family and ways to make our home even more cozy – and he has just outdone himself with his most recent gift to me.
In celebration of our anniversary this summer, he decided to undertake a HUGE project and redo our kitchen countertops and backsplashes himself.
(I love to cook and am so happy to be able to be in the kitchen again sometimes with this unruly body of mine.)
Needless to say, he has worked so so hard on all of this, spending hours and hours installing a new sink and countertops and then building the backsplash, piece by piece.
Now, we have new butcher block countertops and a brick backsplash that I am all about – and I cannot get over how fabulous it looks.
“Thank you” doesn’t feel adequate at all – but I am so grateful, not only for this, but even more so for everything he does to take care of me and our family.
He loves us so well. ❤
