Today’s post is both day 3 and day 4 of our Lenten Scripture Plan – because this Covid business is rough I say.
First, our Scripture.
Day 3:
Come all you who are thirsty, come to the waters. – Isaiah 55:1 (NIV)
Day 4:
He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. – John 7:38 (NKJV)
Though I didn’t intend to combine days – my plague did that for us – these passages definitely go perfectly together. ❤
As for me, I am okay – just riding out these Covid symptoms.

Thankfully, my o2 sats are holding steady and I am tolerating the Paxlovid – though the GI side effects and “Paxlovid Mouth” – a super gross taste that accompanies taking this one – are not anything nice to deal with.
Right now, I’m still having some cough, marked chest tightness, exhaustion, brain fog, intermittent headaches, sinus drainage and sore throat, and gnarly body pain.
Think a really really nasty flu.
However, if the Paxlovid will hold it at “nasty flu,” well, this stinks, but I will be SO SO grateful.
So far, so good.
I’m just sleeping lots, staying snoodled, taking my meds, and praying for the best.
Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other. I’ll see you tomorrow for the First Sunday of Lent.
Grace and Blessings.
