Well, y’all, today didn’t go exactly as planned.

Of course, this week has been a sick week – but my chest has continued to be congested and this morning it was just really tight, reminiscent of childhood asthma and feeling a way I haven’t experienced in many many years – so I knew something new was wrong.
Sure enough, it was. 😦
After a telemed visit and a face to face visit as well, I have gathered all the meds I need – including a prescription for Paxlovid, which prayerfully will keep this in check.
Right now, I have a gnarly productive cough, my chest feels heavy and gross, my body is sore all over, I’m containing the fever with tylenol, and I am exhausted.
However, I am all snoodled up, cozy and warm, I do have all my meds and even a supply of Cranberry Sprite Zero that our precious mom sent me this past weekend (gahhh! thank you, mom ❤ ), and my o2 sats are good – so I am very thankful.
Even with a yucky diagnosis, it is day 2 of Lent and our Scripture today is Colossians 1:15.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. – Colossians 1:15 (ESV)
Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other. I’ll see you tomorrow for Day 3 of Lent. ❤
Grace and Blessings.
