friday verses for the anxieties.

*Rolling into Fighting Words Friday having been extra unwell this week, my anxieties have really been kicking. Since they have been so unruly, I thought that, rather than having one verse this week, I would share several that are good ones for the anxieties as I know many of us struggle with them. ❤ *

I wrote the sweet little passage above early this morning and then took a break because I had a few errands I had to run before I finished it – only to have one hell of a panic attack overcome me in the parking lot at Dollar Tree as I was just getting started.

Oh my word.

(As I’ve been saying, we’ve been under some serious sickness and stress.)

I spent some time in the car breathing in my Valor with the ac WAY up listening to Celtic hymns until I was back to some kind of balanced.

Then, at my next stop, Walmart, I remembered suddenly that I missed a Zoom call I really wanted to participate in for a high school classmate this morning – total brain fog – and felt absolutely terrible, just as this precious older gentleman who clearly was dealing with the residual effects of a serious stroke came to me and asked for help finding something I could not understand to save my life.

I stayed with him for the better part of ten minutes and he was so sweet and I was trying so hard and we were just pitiful. Finally, his wife found us – she had been searching for him and told me what he was looking for – Prevagen – which I never would have gotten in a million years.  *bless*   She was a dear as well and thanked me for staying with him. ❤

Then I walked off and cried – at Walmart.

Soooo, all that said . . . we’re gonna have several verses for the anxieties this week.

BLESS. 😉
