Almost a year ago now, I posted about a not-so-grand urgent care adventure that resulted in a diagnosis of pneumonia.
pneumonia days, oh my.
Well, today was a sort of spoonie deja vu in a most yecchy way.

I mentioned yesterday that I started *another* new antibiotic for respiratory issues – however, my chest has been tight in a way that felt. . . off. . . even for my usual ailments.
Additionally, today as we were driving down the interstate from an appointment for my better half – who has had his own week from Hale – I told him that my RA is giving me fits with my left ankle doing its jackhammering pain thing that is just miserable and that my chest tightness felt like the pneumonia before.
At that point, he decided – thank goodness – to go to urgent care with me before he went to work.

The urgent care visit was almost identical to the one a year ago where I was diagnosed with pneumonia – negative COVID test, chest x-ray positive for right lower lobe pneumonia.

I was given a gram of Rocephin for the infection as well as Toradol and Decadron for this infernal RA flare – and sent home with more antibiotics and, of course, my inhaler.

Needless to say, I am in and resting for the next. . . ???. . . and just wiped. The antibiotic that I have started is one that notoriously kicks my arse – but also treats my respiratory ailments successfully – so here we go.
As always, onward. ❤

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.
Grace and Blessings.
