Here in the our part of Alabama, we are under a rare level 5/5 tornado threat today.

Particularly in the area where our family lives, we have experienced some catastrophic weather events over the years, most memorably April 27, 2011 – so days like this are especially unsettling.
The past two days have been intensely painful as this system approaches – I know many of my fellow autoimmune and arthritis patients are likely coping with this unfortunately – and we have been busy making preparations as we have new babies since we last had to consider such severe weather.
Now, we’ve done all we can do to get ready.
We are up, getting breakfast and turning on weather for a long day ahead.
Please stay safe, everyone.
Stay home if you can – and be aware of the weather wherever you are.
In our area, most of us know tornado safety rules like we know the days of the week, but it is always worth sharing again:

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.
Grace and Blessings.
