In our part of central Alabama, a large storm system has come in within the past couple of hours, one expected to bring several inches of rain and also to usher in our last cold snap of spring, with temperatures dropping some 30-40 degrees at times over the next few days.
Needless to say, it is packing a punch.

Though I know it is futile to try to understand which of the exacerbating factors that I’ve been dealing with recently – surgery, my fall, last week’s medication problem and pain flare – have made this even more eventful as it has come in, it arrived with a bang.
As of 6:30 this morning, our puppies are absolutely on their heads – #thunderistheworst – and all of our people-y pain levels are kicking.
Though we aren’t usually early morning foodies, Ollie and I have gathered a *healthy* snack breakfast of string cheese and sour cream and onion chips so that I might take some toradol and extra – even on top of my dosepak – steroids – and then hopefully this pain situation will settle down.

Sending prayers, love, and warm fuzzies to those west of us who have had serious storm damage from tornadoes, severe thunderstorms, and flooding – and also to everyone dealing with weather related health issues.

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.
Grace and Blessings.
