on the road to see my bestie.

Bug and I have been so looking forward to a visit with Ginny and Daniel in Nashville that we’ve had planned for a couple of months, and, when the opportunity to go for the NPR show came up earlier in the week (that, of course, we did not want to miss either), we knew it was going to be two fantastic trips to Nashville back to back.

(With *many* needed rest days to follow – so worth it. ♥️)

I have several sets of nifty photos I’ll be sharing this week – so a few themed Nashville posts – but first I just want to share our wonderful trip. ♥️

On Saturday, we drove up and met Ginny and Daniel for a delicious lunch at Cava.

I love Cava. 😋

After lunch, Ginny and Bug were kind enough to humor me, taking me to the best and most ginormous plant nursery ever.

From there, we went and walked the Murfreesboro square.

Afterwards, we went back to Ginny’s to visit, see my adorable niece and nephew, and have a delicious dinner Daniel was so sweet to make for us.

After dinner, it was time to go get settled in to our hotel. We checked in – and I went swimming for the first time in many years. It was so much fun.

Sunday morning.

Sunday, we were up to go spend time with Ginny and Daniel before we came home.

After our mural hunt in Nashville, it was time to come home to my better half and our babies. ♥️

I’m so thankful for an amazing trip with Bug to see my bestie. ♥️

Crazy traffic on the way home had us spending a lot of time on the Huntsville bridge – but it is so pretty.

This week, I’ll be sharing more Nashville stories as well as restarting our Banned Book series. I am stoked.

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Grace and Blessings.
