It’s about 2:40 a.m. on Christmas morning and this very tired momma is all cozied up in my Christmas Vacation dinosaur pj’s, getting ready to catch a few hours of shuteye.
I know I’m certainly not the only parent burning the midnight oil tonight. . .
We had a wonderful day on Saturday, celebrating Christmas with our family at the lake:
And Sunday was just the best too. ❤️
I was able to spend Sunday morning serving with my sweet babies, and then come home, get ready, and go back to church as a family for Highlands Christmas 2017:
The service was amazing and I love it so much when we all go to church together.
Then we came home and my husband and I had our Christmas together this evening. And we just had the best time. ❤️❤️❤️
And now we are ready for Santa in the morning and Christmas breakfast and then my parents are coming for Christmas later tomorrow.
So many good things with my people and so much to be thankful for.
And, though I wish circumstances were different, I am grateful to be home through the holidays this year.
And, most importantly, always, I am so thankful for THE Christmas gift:
Thank you, Jesus. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I’ll have much more to write when my brain and body aren’t overwhelmed with the parental fatigue that hits at this point in the midst of the Christmas marathon.
Must. Sleep. STAT.
Merry Christmas, y’all!
Grace and blessings. ❤️💙💛💚💜
