pursuing my passion

The new love of my television life is Queer Eye. I started it a couple of nights ago, made it through Episode Six, then restarted it tonight so I could watch it through with Sara. I lub it.

One thing that I’ve noticed – as a new health coach who is about to graduate and an enthusiastic whole foodie – is just how many people really don’t know how to prepare whole foods or how chemical laden the “foods” they have in their homes are.

As Sara and I have been talking over the past few weeks about our essential oil business, Leilani Wellness, (we are going to be spending more time on it now that I am able to!), and I have been thinking about my new coaching practice, Leilani Health Coaching, I am so excited (and a little overwhelmed) to be promoting natural health and wellness and encouraging people to detox chemicals from their diets and homes.

As a coach, regardless of what diet plan a person chooses or weight goals a person has, whole foods and a chemical free diet are essential to overall health. The more I read and learn, the more I’m convinced of this – and I’m working on transforming my own life to improve my health.

Depending on client needs, I can include teaching, recipes, supermarket trips, cooking lessons (of the very simple variety – a chef I am not). . .

As for our EO business, there are some amazing options for supporting the body’s natural healing process and staying healthy as well as replacing nasty chemicals in the home. I was never going to be one of those crazy oil ladies . . . until I turned into one of those crazy oil ladies. 🙂

Combining the two is something I am really excited about it and I am stoked to be developing my health coaching program. It’s also been really great for me to have this to focus on, as well as my book (yay! yay! yay!) as I am no longer able to work outside of our home or do anything that requires me to be on my feet for any extended period of time.

Since we haven’t had time to really “do” oils in quite awhile, we are going to kick off both with an online class on Facebook and Instagram next week and I can’t wait.

It’s going to be fabulous.

Be well, everybody. Happy Tuesday!

Grace and blessings.
