As I’ve mentioned before, last year we decided – after the loss of a very close friend and my becoming essentially homebound due to my illness – not to postpone things that bring joy, like beginning to celebrate the Christmas season in our home as early as we want to. I LOVE it so much. So, around the first of November, we decorate and get out all of the Christmas movies and turn on the music and the hot chocolate starts flowing. . .
This year, that was yesterday. š

I am so so freaking excited to have some of our Christmas up!
We watched Fred Claus, Scrooged, The Family Stone, Elf, and Love Actually all yesterday too! Gahhhhh!!! I’m having a total Christmas happy geek out here!
And, if you haven’t listened to John Legend’s new Christmas album yet, Apple Radio or Spotify it stat. It is so so good.
I am particularly thankful for Christmas joy for these past two days because it rained yesterday and we have a MAJOR storm system coming today – so my body is on fire.
I am going to go mail some packages at the post office this morning, stop for a few errands, and pick up some hot chocolate and soup ingredients – and then come home and watch more Christmas movies by the tree until the barometric pressure is a lil’ more spoonie friendly. š
Be well, everybody.
Grace and Blessings.

I love this. My big holiday is Halloween, but I was too sick this year to celebrate. So Iām going to make a real effort to enjoy Christmas as much as possible! Iām kind of a Scrooge, so it will be good for me.
