Happy Valentine’s Day, y’all!

(I’m sorry I’ve been MIA for a few weeks. I’ve been dealing with a gnarly post-fall CRPS flare – but I’m fighting back up. This one has just taken a minute.)

I’ve written before that I put this song on our wedding favor mix CD for my husband years ago and I think it is just so sweet and beautiful.

The Wine We Drink – Drew and Ellie Holcomb

I’ve also said before that – as we’ve gotten a bit more, ummm, seasoned 🙂 – I love this song so so much for my husband now. It’s my heart. ❤

I’ll Stand By You – Shakira

Of course, this is just a great song – and I really dig Shakira’s version.

Come Away With Me – Norah Jones

I think Norah is the best and will always have a soft spot for this, her breakout song from so many years ago. Her voice is just stunning.

All Of Me – John Legend and Lindsey Stirling

I ❤ this song and I think this particular version with Lindsey is just fantastic.

Always – Bon Jovi

Oh my word. As a child of the 1990’s, this song. . . ❤

Electricity – Drew and Ellie Holcomb

Lots of Drew and Ellie songs have my heart – individually and together – and, if you haven’t checked them out, do. This is another of their love songs I just adore.

Fields of Gold – Celtic Woman

This song is an all around favorite of mine and I think this is a wonderful version.

Tennessee Whiskey – Chris Stapleton

I could listen to this on repeat for about two weeks.

Your Song – Elton John

Can you have a Valentine’s love song playlist without this?

SK is hands down one of my favorite artists and this is an obscure song from his first album way back when that I just love.

(It’s also the inspiration for the name of this post.)
