Today is December 8th, the anniversary of John Lennon’s awful passing in 1980.

Of course, we all know of his many (many) contributions to music worth celebrating – but, in terms of all things holiday, have you even really Christmas’d yet if you haven’t heard “Happy Christmas (War is Over)”?

Over the years, it has found its way to being the most unusual holiday classic – and today I wanted to share a few favorite versions of it in memory of John.
