Happy Christmas Eve eve, y’all. ❤

I’m so excited for Christmas. We’re all decorated and we’ve got our menu all planned and the tree is just beautiful and we’ve been listening to Christmas music and watching Christmas movies getting ready. . . I can’t wait for my sweet family to all be off of work for the holidays and to be home and cozy and celebrating together. ❤

Today is Fighting Words Friday and our scripture is one of the most often quoted at Christmas and one of my favorites – Isaiah 9:6.

For unto us a child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. – Isaiah – 9:6

This prophecy of Jesus was given some 700 years before His birth and is such a beautiful description of Him.

Our Christmas song today, Amy Grant’s Joy to the World/For Unto Us A Child Is Born, matches so well with this verse. ❤
