happy fighting words friday, y’all.

Hi friends! I am so happy to be making a quick Fighting Words Friday post after being away sick. I even missed last week’s FWF – which I really don’t like to do – and I’m so glad we are back. ❀

As it happens, yesterday was Rheumatoid Arthritis Awareness Day and each year I write something for it here. Well, this year’s post is about halfway complete and I hope to finish it tonight after I get done with several school assignments that cannot wait. I couldn’t get it done yesterday because it was cold and raining and. . . I have been incredibly sick.

Yep. Too sick to post for RA Awareness Day. Sometimes you just have to laugh at the absurdity of this spoonie life. . . πŸ˜‰

Still, I am kicking and we are all here and all my classwork and that post will be done this evening – and it is Fighting Words Friday so I am just thankful and blessed. ❀

Today, after being so sickly as of late, the verses that came to my heart for this week are:

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, β€œHe is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” – Psalm 91: 1-2 (NIV)

These verses are so lovely and comforting all the time – but especially when we are weak. ❀

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Grace and Blessings.
