the soundtrack for my new book.

In much happier news than my previous post, my book of sixty reflections on living with chronic illness (which shares the same title as my ebook of forty devotions from COVID-times in 2021 but is completely rewritten and expanded and is not at all the same book) will be released in the middle of September.

♥️

In the coming weeks, I will have dates for assorted releases and events – and I am so excited.

It’s been a bit. . . hairy 👀 . . . with me getting alarmingly sick in the middle of everything – but I suppose that is sort of life when writing about living with complex chronic illnesses.

Today, I wanted to share the playlist that accompanies the book.

It is printed inside – and many of the songs are actually referenced in reflections throughout as well. All are dear to me and feel like they belong together with the little book that could, even through some serious health issues this spring and summer,

Depending on where you listen to your music, here it is on Spotify:

(The only note I would add is that, in the book, the version of Ave Maria that is listed is done by Alanis Morrisette. Should you come across this version, please listen right away; it is fantastic- but it has since vanished. So, in its stead, I had added another version of the Ave I love and listen to often: The Cranberries and Pavarotti. It’s so unexpected and lovely.)

I am deeply excited about book time and I have so many things I can’t wait to share – hopefully I won’t make y’all too crazy. 😉

Your girl even made it by Trader Joe’s quickly after a doctor’s appointment. We’re getting stronger. ♥️

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Grace and Blessings.
