Snowy Days

Yesterday we had a rare beautiful snow day in Alabama:

And, of course, school was cancelled. And, unfortunately, my husband needed to stay at work as he is essential personnel for the type of work he does.

However, in the past, I would have been called in as well due to weather.

But this time I was able to stay home with our kidlets.

We hit a few bumps early on – but nothing major – and, after that, everyone liked dinner (a minor miracle), we made hot chocolate, and had movie night, piling up and watching a couple together, like we did when they were little.

It was a great time. πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™

After everyone went to bed, I decided, fairly randomly, to start reworking my vision board. The way I did it last – when I first came home from working – just doesn’t fit. And I got about halfway done and decided to finish the rest tomorrrow:

I also decided to go ahead and have my quiet time and bible readings before bed because we have a busy day on Saturday.

And, when I opened my One Year Bible, one of the readings was from the Book of Joel and it included this verse:

And, afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions. – Joel 2:28

Our pastor preached a sermon series on dreaming new dreams a few years ago with this as the theme verse.

What got me though was that apparently God intended for me to redo my vision board today and start thinking about new dreams before I did.

It was just another reminder with all that has been going on recently that He is in control of everything and cares about every detail.

Be well, everybody, and Happy Saturday!

Grace and Blessings. β€οΈπŸ’œπŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’™
