profound gratitude for this first.

Way back in 1997, when I graduated high school, I wanted to go to Mississippi State – and had made several visits and had scholarships – but life got in the way and it just didn’t work out. I was crushed.

(I dug out my senior year scrapbook and found these.)

Of course, back then, when you didn’t get to go to a school, that was the end of it.

Well, as we all know, times have changed SO much. . . so today was a first day of school that I am ridiculously, over the moon excited about. ❤

I am incredibly grateful to have finished my first day of orientation at Mississippi State as an online student and for my supportive husband and daughter and for the opportunity to do this after all these years.

As you can see above, we even took a proper Kindergarten First Day of School picture to celebrate. 😉

I just thank God that it’s never too late to dream big and keep trying and keep Doing The Things.

And I’m beyond grateful for my people who’ve always got me and want the big dreams for me too.

I’m a blessed and lucky woman for sure. ❤

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Oh, and a BIG Hail State! ❤

Grace and Blessings.
