We’ve had so many things going on in our home in the past few weeks.
There have been some fabulous things:
Our Sara celebrated her 15th Birthday.
And my amazing cousin Blair and I finally got to go to our long awaited Lauren Daigle concert.

AND my Red Sox won the World Series.
If you notice the extra puffy cheeks in the above picture, it’s because I found myself getting to have some oral surgery – and I HATE the dentist. That would be some of the bad news.

So, that led to lots of days of “soft foods” – carbs and carbs and more carbs.
Still, my portions have been pretty small and I’ve been losing weight.
However, today I had my health screen for our health insurance. And prednisone raises triglycerides. And I hadn’t yet gotten around to getting on track again with my Paleo.
And my freaking triglycerides are 471.
Four Hundred And Seventy One, y’all.
I almost hit the floor.
A desirable number is below 150. A number as high as mine is considered at risk for things like pancreatitis – made even worse by the fact that I’m already diabetic.
Needless to say, I am back on track now as sugar and carbs raise triglycerides as well. #fixitjesus
I’m also working to get my Paleo Nutrition Program finished by the end of November.
Oh my word. I think I might still be in shock. =O
I am breathing in the Valor like it’s my JOB right now because I am UPSET.
As I was looking over my planner – scheduling swim days!!! – I saw that I had forgotten tonight was NBC’s Wicked 15th Anniversary Live Special with Kristen Chenoweth and Idina Menzel. Normally, Henry and I have to nap around the time it comes on – but apparently my nerves overrode my nap – not his of course =D – and I actually did get to see it (AND my better half recorded it – YAY!).
And it was magical.
And Idina performed one of my all-time favorite musical songs live:
I am so thankful for small miracles and happy distractions when my anxiety is derailing.
Be well, everybody.
Grace and Blessings.
